No vs. Know

Disciple: A person who is a pupil or an adherent of the doctrines of another; follower.

Atheist: A person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings.

Agnostic: Essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience.

Spiritual: Of or relating to the spirit or soul, as distinguished from the physical nature; a spiritual approach to life.

I have to admit that when people define themselves as Atheist, Agnostic, or Spiritual I want to cock my head to the side and say, “Huh? What do you mean”

Simply put I don’t believe that anyone in this world doesn’t believes in some higher power.

Case in point, when we drive by a accident on the freeway and see cars smashed up, an ambulance, and police surround the area, we tend to think “Gosh, I hope no one was killed.” Where does that “hope” come from? Who, or what are you hoping will bring on healing for those involved in that accident?

I see these definitions, Atheist, Agnostic, and Spiritual lack ownership, responsibility, and commitment. They are excuses; a way to say “no.”

But a disciple is a student; a person seeking to know more.

I enjoy learning new things, and in my spare time I like to read, dance, hang out with friends, and eat at new restaurants.
