The Devil Made Me Do It

How many times have we heard that statement?

When we first ready the story of Adam and Eve in the garden, I’m sure we asked some of the same questions.

Why would God allow them to be deceived? Why didn’t He rescue them before they made the worst mistake of their lifes. The world would be forever changed because of their disobedience.

Both of them sinned and we sometimes get into heated discussions about which sin was the worst. Disobedience to God is disobedience! Sin is sin.

God says that disobedience is as witchcraft (1Samuel 15:23) and we are treading on dangerous grounds when we do anything that God tells not to do. Like Saul we miss the good things He has in store for us.

The scriptures tells us that the children of Israel were told how blessed they would be when they went into the promise land, if they continued to do what He instructed them to do. He also told them what not to do and what would happen if they disobeyed His instructions.

We have always had a choice

Think about all the evils in the world today. They can all be traces back to disobedience.

But the wonderful thing about God is that He knew we would make these mistake, that’s why He prepared a sacrifice for our sins years ago

His name is Jesus.

I'm a young senior, recently married, after raising 5 kids. I'm a christian and love to capture videos and tell stories with the camcorder. I love to skate and sing. I love to learn new things. I also love to garden and plant new kinds of veggies. I find it fascinating that people can communicate through blogging the word of God.
